For installations on concrete, asphalt, indoor surfaces, or any location where ground staking is not permitted, sandbag anchoring is required. Sandbags are available at a rate of $15.00 per 50-pound sandbag, including securing clips. Reduced rates may be available for customer pickup rentals.
Please note that larger and taller inflatable units require additional anchoring for safety and insurance compliance. Depending on the size and height of the unit, tethering and anchoring costs may exceed $100 per unit.
Whenever ground staking is used, grass surfaces are preferred. The Client is responsible for clearly identifying and marking any underground utilities, irrigation systems, sprinkler lines, septic systems, or areas where staking is prohibited prior to installation. Carnivals for Kids at Heart assumes no responsibility for damage to unmarked underground infrastructure.

Sandbag Safety Requirements
Our sandbags are equipped with secure attachment clips designed to anchor your rental equipment safely and help protect participants throughout your event.

Typical Requirements:
- Most frame games require a minimum of 2 sandbags.
- Most standard inflatables require a minimum of 4 sandbags.
- Larger inflatables, including slides, obstacle courses, and combo units, require additional sandbags depending on size, height, and manufacturer requirements.
Important:
Sandbags are required for all outdoor rentals installed on surfaces other than grass, including asphalt, concrete, pavement, and indoor venues. For safety reasons, we cannot set up outdoor inflatables on non-grass surfaces unless they are properly secured with the required number of sandbags and tethering points.
